Sherry has an extraordinary talent of paring farm fresh food and Wine. She uses her passion for people to bring strangers and friends together in both remote and group settings!

Farm & Vine is not your normal virtual wine tasting, but rather exclusively curated events that have transported us to far-away places with the exceptional food and wine pairings, all while being in the comfort of our own home. These sensory experiences have also been learning experiences, as we hear both from the actual farmers themselves as they share their knowledge of their products, while Farm & Vine’s Founder Sherry Perra eloquently shares her in-depth knowledge and passion of the paired wines.

I consider Sherry my personal Sommelier! I host many events at my home and Sherry is always there to pair the most perfect wine with the most perfect food! I have attended many of her personal wine and food pairing events and I am always truly amazed at her ability to always set the right tone, the right look and the right pairings! Thank you for all you do to help me be a better hostess!

The Farm & Vine events have been so fun and informative. Sherry is very knowledgeable about the wine’s origin, depth of flavor, how it is grown and harvested. I can truly say we had a grand time, the most fun I have had on a virtual event. The pace of of the event was perfect, the quality of the oysters and the education on the oysters & wine was truly enjoyable! We were able to share the experience with friends in person and yet still feel like we were apart of a much bigger event. Two thumbs up recommendation!

We truly enjoyed the Peeko oysters with the recipes and wine pairings. It was amazing to see how the flavors changed as the wine and oysters changed with the recipes. It was fabulous to hear about the wines and exciting to hear about the farming of oysters. We had many questions 🙂 The tricks of opening oysters were helpful as well. We participated in the wine and oyster experience. We invited some friends over to enjoy the event with us. Everyone was extremely impressed with how easy the oysters were to cook for the 3rd preparation. The cooked oysters were our favorite and the wine paired amazing with the different flights of oysters. Something unique and fun to enjoy with friends.

We have enjoyed oysters for years but have never had the experience to prepare our own. My family gathered around as we listened to the history of raising Oysters from Peter and providing the best of wines from Jean-Charles. Sherry took us through the fabulous pairings and off we went. The wines chosen by Sherry were perfect -> the 2010 GALA (my favorite), the JCB French Kiss Rose, and the Chambolle-Musigny were a complement to each oyster recipe. I recently hosted a “girls night in” at my home and participated in the Gouda cheese and wine pairing virtual event. We had such a great time and enjoyed learning more about Gouda cheese and what wine to pair with each flavor. We also had fun making the puff pastry appetizer with the Gouda cheese center. They were delicious! Sherry is always a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wine and food pairing. I’m excited to participate in her next event!

As a lover of wine, and life-long learner who will never shy away from a celebration, Farm & Vine always hits the mark! Sherry brings together amazing ingredients from around the world for an education on food and the magic that happens when paired with the perfect vino. I learn so much from her and love hearing the how and why she made her selections. But most of all, it’s fun! No matter if it’s date night with the husband or happy hour with the ladies, Farm & Vine is a great time, every time.
